Sacramento, CA (March 11, 2026) – A bicyclist was fatally struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon, March 10, in downtown Sacramento. Emergency responders arrived shortly before 3 p.m. Responders arrived at the intersection of 12th Street and C Street following reports of a collision between a bicycle and a car. Responders found the injured cyclist and offered assistance on-site. The man was transported to a local hospital for care but ultimately succumbed to his injuries. According to authorities, the driver stayed at the scene after the crash. Officials have not disclosed the bicyclist’s identity. Further details regarding the events preceding the crash have not been released to the public. The incident is still being investigated.
