Sacramento, CA (January 29, 2026) – A bicyclist suffered a leg injury Wednesday evening when hit by a vehicle on I St in downtown Sacramento, leading to a police and medical response. The crash was reported at approximately 5:19 p.m. In the 95811 ZIP code on January 28. Emergency dispatch reported the crash as a vehicle striking a bicyclist, with the victim needing urgent medical care for a leg injury. Authorities noted the vehicle was a white car but gave no additional identifying information. The caller who reported the incident refused to respond to follow-up questions, leaving certain details of the crash unclear. Police and emergency medical teams arrived at the scene, and more officers were called in to help with the investigation. Authorities have not disclosed the bicyclist’s current condition or whether the driver stayed at the scene. The incident is still being investigated by local police.
