On November 28, 2025, in Riverside, CA, a multiple vehicle accident occurred on the southbound Interstate 215 close to Martin Luther King Blvd around 3:21 a.m., causing injuries and necessitating emergency medical assistance, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. on November 28 and included at least three cars: a white Toyota, a gray sedan, and a black sedan. Early reports suggest that the incident occurred across several lanes, including the HOV lane, with one vehicle ending up in the center divider. CHP dispatch records mentioned that a gray sedan collided with a white BMW, which had allegedly been disabled prior to the crash. A helpful bystander in a gray GMC SUV was present in the HOV lane assisting when the accident happened. Emergency responders, including medical teams (1141), were sent to the location shortly after the situation changed from unknown injuries to a confirmed injury incident (1179). Traffic was heavily affected, with vehicles scattered across the #2 lane, center divider, and right shoulder. Tow services were called for several vehicles, and Riverside Fire was alerted as a precautionary measure. Although the total number and severity of injuries have not been disclosed, at least one individual needed medical assistance. There have been no confirmed arrests or citations, and the cause of the accident is still being investigated by the CHP. Additional updates are anticipated as officials keep examining the situation and evaluating the damage.
