(Los Angeles, CA) A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle at a neighborhood intersection on Bell Avenue on Tuesday night, January 27. CHP officers responded to the crash around 10:03 p.m. to Bell Avenue and Nadeau Street in the unincorporated Florence-Firestone community. They got reports about a car crash with a pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers discovered a critically injured individual in the roadway. Paramedics from the Los Angeles County Fire Department administered emergency medical treatment and transported the pedestrian to a hospital. Even after treatment, the victim was pronounced dead shortly afterward. Authorities did not immediately disclose the victim’s name, age, or gender. Investigators withheld details about the vehicle involved or its direction of travel during the collision.
