(Los Angeles, CA) A fatal collision on the westbound 210 Foothill Freeway in the Shadow Hills area on Sunday night, December 14, claimed one life and injured six others. Authorities were notified of the crash at 7:53 p.m. Right east of the Sunland Boulevard exit. Emergency responders discovered several vehicles in the incident, two of which had flipped over. Police declared one individual, discovered outside a vehicle, dead on site. The identity has not been disclosed yet. Paramedics took a 40-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman, and a 61-year-old man to hospitals in serious condition. Two more patients sustained non-life-threatening injuries, while a sixth individual refused transportation. Witnesses reported to CHP that a black SUV or pickup truck was swerving between lanes at high speed prior to the crash.
