(Hollywood, CA) Authorities are looking into the death of an individual discovered on the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway on the night of November 11. Officials referred to the incident as a fatal crash on the 101 Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol. CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig stated that the CHP received reports of a body around 4:31 p.m. just to the north of Santa Monica Boulevard. Officers who arrived at the scene discovered a deceased individual in the far-right lane, but details such as the person’s name, age, and gender have not been disclosed. Authorities issued a SigAlert at 9:50 p.m. , shutting down lanes 2, 3, and 4 on the northbound 101 Freeway. While that was happening, investigators looked over the area and cleared the road. One lane stayed open for restricted traffic. CHP officers lifted the SigAlert shortly before midnight.
