Oceanside, CA (December 10, 2025) – A late Tuesday night collision involving two vehicles near Plaza Drive in Oceanside resulted in one individual sustaining minor injuries and triggered an emergency response, as reported by the California Highway Patrol – Border Division. The event was reported at approximately 10:06 p.m. On the eastbound lanes just past Plaza Dr., authorities reported that two vehicles were involved in the accident, which initially obstructed the No. 3 lane. One of the vehicles traveled around 50 feet down a ravine after the collision. The individual in the car managed to get out by themselves, but experienced discomfort and asked for an ambulance to get professional medical attention. Paramedics showed up at the scene to examine the injuries and facilitate transportation. No additional significant injuries were reported. The CHP and local responders stayed at the location to look into the cause of the accident and manage the recovery of the vehicle from the ravine. Traffic in the vicinity was briefly affected during the response. We hope the injured person has a speedy and complete recovery.
