Oakland, CA (October 6, 2025) – On Sunday afternoon, authorities were called to a traffic accident that resulted in injuries at the intersection of 12th St and Lake Merritt Blvd in Oakland. The accident was reported around 12:25 p.m. This triggered a Code 2 response from the Oakland Police. The first radio report indicated that there were injuries at the location, but details regarding the severity and total number of those injured have not been disclosed. Emergency services have arrived to manage traffic and help the injured. There has been no additional information released about how many vehicles were involved or what led to the collision. Drivers in the vicinity might have faced delays as officials assessed the scene and took measures to secure the busy intersection close to Lake Merritt.
