Emergency responders were sent to the scene to offer medical aid and secure the area. Further information on the events preceding the crash is currently scarce. What Happens to the Body During a Vehicle Ejection in California? Being thrown from a vehicle in a rollover crash is among the most hazardous consequences of any collision. When someone is ejected from a vehicle, they completely lose the shielding of the car’s structure and safety features, greatly heightening the chance of severe injury. In California, ejections most frequently happen when occupants aren’t wearing seat belts during the collision. Irregular or unsteady breathing following a traumatic event may indicate injuries to the chest, spine, or airway.
