Oakland, CA (October 22, 2025) – Several people were injured in a vehicle accident Tuesday evening near the intersection of 16th Avenue and East 12th Street in Oakland, according to the Oakland Fire Department.
The crash was first reported around 5:38 p.m. on October 21. Emergency responders, including Engine 4, were dispatched under a Bravo-level alert, indicating a moderate-priority medical response for multiple patients.
Upon arrival, crews confirmed several individuals were hurt in the crash. The exact number and severity of injuries have not been disclosed, but all injured parties were evaluated and treated at the scene, with at least some likely transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
As of the time of response, the Oakland Police Department had not yet arrived on scene, and fire officials requested an ETA for law enforcement assistance.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision. Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted as emergency vehicles and personnel worked to manage the scene and care for the injured.
