North Sacramento, CA (October 20, 2025) – A woman sustained injuries in a hit-and-run accident on Saturday evening when a vehicle hit her at the intersection of Roseville Road and Watt Avenue, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The crash took place around 5:44 p.m. and was categorized as a hit-and-run incident (20001) resulting in injuries. Witnesses and dispatch reports initially stated that a white Toyota Sienna van hit the pedestrian while they were in the roadway. The driver allegedly escaped from the location, abandoning the woman who was left on the road. Emergency teams, such as the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and fire crews, responded promptly. The woman who was injured was subsequently taken to Mercy San Juan Medical Center to receive treatment. Details regarding her condition have not been disclosed, but the type of response indicates that her injuries are serious yet not life-threatening. The vicinity of Roseville Rd and Watt Ave is a busily trafficked area in North Sacramento, where pedestrian incidents frequently occur due to fast vehicle speeds and insufficient pedestrian facilities.
