North Hollywood, CA (October 3, 2025) – A tragic accident in North Hollywood on Friday morning resulted in the death of one man and injuries to three others after their car crashed into a utility pole and multiple parked vehicles, as reported by officials from the Los Angeles Fire Department. The incident took place at approximately 1:43 a.m. located close to 11615 W. Vanowen St, directly south of Lemp Ave. Officials report that a silver car veered off course and crashed into a utility pole, then proceeded to collide with several parked cars. The collision was so strong that it ignited the vehicle, leaving those inside unable to escape. Firefighters quickly responded and employed hydraulic rescue equipment to free the trapped individuals from the debris. A 30-year-old male was declared deceased at the location. Three additional passengers—one being a 25-year-old man in critical condition and the other two being 19-year-old men—were taken to nearby hospitals. The status of the two younger victims is still unverified. The Los Angeles Police Department is looking into the events that preceded the accident. The reason for the crash is still unknown, and authorities have not disclosed the names of the individuals involved.
