A traffic collision with no reported injuries was recorded at about 3:06 p.m. Oct. 12 near Cherry Avenue and East Artesia Boulevard in the Santa Fe Springs area. The incident was classified by the California Highway Patrol as a no-injury collision.
The reported location was near the ARCO station on Cherry Avenue, just south of the Artesia Freeway. The dispatch also placed the point of impact on eastbound State Route 91, just west of Cherry Avenue.
CHP’s initial information did not identify the vehicles involved or report any injuries. The available dispatch record also did not indicate that lanes were blocked or that a medical response was required.
At about 3:16 p.m., a caller contacted dispatch again to ask about the estimated arrival time. CHP noted that a unit had been assigned to the incident.
