The California Highway Patrol logged a traffic collision without reported injuries at the intersection of State Route 111 and East Noffsinger Road on Oct. 3, 2026, at 3:23 p.m. The incident was recorded in the El Centro CHP area.
A later dispatch update at 3:32 p.m. relayed information from the sheriff’s dispatch center. A woman reportedly believed the collision involved one of the ditches along the main road.
The CHP information did not identify the vehicles involved or provide details about their positions, direction of travel or the extent of any damage. It also did not document a lane closure or other roadway obstruction.
The dispatch classified the incident as a no-injury collision. The available information did not indicate that ambulance, fire or towing services were requested.
