An ambulance was en route following a traffic collision on eastbound State Route 62 near Pierson Boulevard on Oct. 3, 2026. The incident was reported at approximately 3:42 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
The dispatch identified a black SUV in connection with the collision. A subsequent update reported that the person in the SUV sounded distressed and that children were inside the vehicle.
The distress report was added at about 3:46 p.m., four minutes after the initial collision notification. CHP dispatch information did not specify the number of vehicles involved or describe the extent of any injuries.
