A no-injury traffic collision was reported Tuesday afternoon on westbound State Route 60 at the S. Lorena Street off-ramp in the Central Los Angeles area. The incident was logged at about 1:50 p.m. on Aug. 18, 2026.
The location was also described as westbound SR 60 at the Soto Street off-ramp, Exit 1D. CHP classified the incident as a traffic collision with no reported injuries.
In a dispatch update issued at about 3:19 p.m., CHP said a vehicle was in the gore area on the right side of the exit. The gore area is the space separating the main freeway lanes from the exit ramp.
The dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved, report any lane closures, or document an ambulance, fire response or towing request. No additional details about the collision were provided in the available CHP update.
