A motorcyclist lost their life in a multi-vehicle accident on Gilbert Road, near the intersection of Gilbert and Ray roads, in Gilbert, Arizona, on the evening of November 4, as per police reports. The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. They were informed about an accident involving a motorcycle and two cars. Upon their arrival, the first responders discovered a motorcyclist suffering from severe wounds. Police stated that paramedics declared the rider deceased at the scene. The authorities have not yet disclosed the victim’s identity, as they are waiting to inform the next of kin. Detectives continue to look into the causes of the crash and have not yet disclosed whether speed, impairment, or other elements played a role. Summary of the Gilbert Road crash. If it’s found that speed played a role, investigators might refer to the Basic Speed Rule. This law mandates that all drivers must drive at a speed that is safe and sensible based on the conditions. If any of the drivers involved were driving too quickly for the intersection or traffic conditions, they might be deemed to have broken this rule. Due to the collision happening at a crowded intersection, law enforcement may also examine Arizona Revised Statutes 28-772.
