Modesto, CA (October 14, 2025) – Early Tuesday morning, emergency services in Stanislaus County responded to two distinct vehicle collisions resulting in injuries, which happened just a few miles from each other in the Modesto region. Both events necessitated urgent medical help, with one accident leading to people being stuck in a car. The first accident occurred close to Albers Rd, leading to the response of Engine 23, Quint 22, and Battalion 2. Emergency personnel swiftly reached the location and started assisting the victims of the accident. The emergency medical services quickly stabilized the victims and then coordinated their transport to local hospitals. The extent of the injuries has not been made public yet. Soon after, a second and more critical collision took place near Yosemite Blvd, close to the O’Mee River and the Yosemite Bridge. This situation was more intricate, as the dispatch indicated that there were people trapped inside a car. Units from Engine 29, Engine 24, Truck 1, and Battalion 3 were dispatched to the location. Emergency responders and firefighters worked quickly to free the individuals trapped inside, providing assistance to those with various injuries. The two incidents led to traffic slowdowns in the region during the morning rush hour.
