A traffic collision involving minor injuries was reported Sept. 6 on North Shingle Road in the Placerville area. The incident was recorded at approximately 3:28 p.m. near 2680 North Shingle Road, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
The initial dispatch classification indicated that an ambulance was en route to the collision. CHP later updated the incident classification to a traffic collision involving minor injuries.
That update was recorded at about 3:55 p.m., roughly 27 minutes after the original incident time. The available dispatch information did not state how many vehicles were involved or provide descriptions of them.
CHP dispatch details also did not identify any lane closures, roadway blockage, vehicle towing, or transportation of injured people from the scene. No cause of the collision was provided.
