A minor-injury collision was reported at about 2:01 p.m. Sept. 12 on eastbound State Route 156 just west of U.S. 101 in the Hollister-Gilroy area. The crash occurred near the junction involving northbound and southbound U.S. 101.
The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a traffic collision involving minor injuries. The dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or specify the number of people hurt.
A vehicle was later taken from the scene by a tow service, according to a CHP update recorded at about 3:53 p.m. The dispatch did not indicate that lanes were closed or provide details about any continuing traffic obstruction.
CHP’s available incident information did not include a cause of the collision, the identities of those involved, or additional details about the reported injuries. The incident was documented within the agency’s Hollister-Gilroy area.
