On November 20, 2025, in Madera, CA, a devastating train crash resulted in the death of a 52-year-old man on Tuesday evening. The Madera Police Department reported that the incident took place at approximately 2:45 p.m. Close to the crossroads of Gateway Dr and 3rd St., first responders arrived at the location following notifications about a person being hit by a train. The individual was discovered lifeless at the scene, and authorities verified that he had passed away upon collision. The reasons for the pedestrian being on the tracks are still being investigated. The identity of the victim has not been disclosed until the next of kin is informed. Train traffic in the area was briefly interrupted while officials carried out their investigation.
