Los Angeles, CA (December 13, 2025) – A fatal multi-vehicle collision in the San Fernando Valley killed three individuals early Saturday morning. The crash took place at around 5:38 a.m. At the Woodman Ave and Cantara St intersection, a multi-vehicle crash triggered a major emergency response from LAPD, LAFD, and paramedics. Officials confirmed three people died in the incident. Medics who responded pronounced the victims dead at the scene. Other people were injured, though the number and extent of injuries have not been officially released. Traffic in the vicinity was closed for several hours while investigators processed the scene, gathered evidence, and recorded the positions of the vehicles. The wreckage and debris covered a broad area, indicating a high-speed collision or chain-reaction crash. The Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division is heading the investigation. Initial reports suggest speed could have played a role, though the exact cause is still being investigated. We offer our deepest sympathies to the families of those who died and wish a swift recovery to the injured.
