The event took place at approximately 9:39 p.m. On 28 January. Dispatch audio verified that an ambulance was dispatched to the location after reports of a pedestrian hit by a car. Officers from Hollenbeck Station responded code three, underscoring the emergency. Although official details on injuries remain undisclosed, the presence of EMS indicates the pedestrian needed urgent medical attention. The individual’s current condition remains unconfirmed, and details regarding the vehicle or driver have not been released. Officials have not indicated if factors like visibility, traffic violations, or pedestrian right-of-way contributed to the incident. The probe into the incident continues.
