Los Angeles, CA (September 20, 2025) – A hit-and-run accident occurred early this morning at the junction of Nordhoff St and Reseda Blvd in Northridge, resulting in injuries to one individual. The event took place just after 1:20 a.m. On Saturday, emergency services reported that responders arrived at the location to assist an injured person, who was reportedly hurt in the accident. The current status of the victim has not been disclosed, but they received help from paramedics at the scene and might have been taken to a local hospital for additional assessment. The car that caused the accident escaped before law enforcement arrived. Currently, there is no information available regarding the suspect or the vehicle. LAPD officers cordoned off the area and initiated a comprehensive investigation into the event. Incidents of hit-and-run like this are especially concerning because they involve an absence of instant accountability and pose dangers to victims who are left waiting for medical care. Officials are calling on anyone who has details regarding the vehicle involved in the accident or the incident itself to step forward.
