Los Angeles, CA (March 29, 2026) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run incident early Friday morning, March 27, west of the Westlake District in Los Angeles. The event took place at approximately 3:45 a.m. Close to the intersection of Vermont Avenue and W 7th Street, emergency units arrived at the scene and discovered that a pedestrian had been hit by a vehicle heading northbound on Vermont Ave. The victim was declared dead on-site soon after emergency crews arrived. Officials stated that the driver proceeded north following the first collision, then struck another vehicle before escaping the scene. No description of the suspect or vehicle has been made public yet. Authorities have not disclosed the victim’s identity. Further details regarding the events preceding the crash remain unconfirmed.
