Los Angeles, CA (December 15, 2025) – A fatal hit-and-run accident killed three individuals, including U.S. Marine Adrian Carrillo, late Friday night near the N. Woodman Ave and Terra Bella St intersection on the Panorama City-Arleta border. The deadly incident took place at about 9:30 p.m. , when a minivan driver ran a red light while fleeing an earlier collision scene, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The fleeing vehicle struck a blue Ford Mustang and a Honda Civic at the busy intersection. Sadly, the 20-year-old man and woman in the Mustang—named by friends as Adrian Carrillo and his girlfriend—were declared dead at the scene. Family friends and community members gathered at the scene, remembering Carrillo—a Marine who had come home for the holidays to comfort his grieving father after his mother’s recent death—with profound emotion. The van driver, a 30-year-old man, also perished in the crash. A 35-year-old male passenger in the minivan suffered critical injuries and required extrication from the wreckage by emergency responders. He is still in the hospital. The Civic’s driver fled the scene and remains at large. LAPD detectives are still investigating and encouraging anyone with information to step forward. Our thoughts are with the families of everyone impacted by this senseless tragedy, particularly the loved ones of Adrian Carrillo and his girlfriend.
