Long Beach, CA (December 30, 2025) – A man was injured Sunday afternoon when he was hit in a two-vehicle crash near the Cherry Avenue and East 4th Street intersection in Long Beach. The incident was reported at approximately 2:58 p.m. Police, fire, and emergency medical personnel responded promptly. Dispatch reports verified that two vehicles collided in the 90802 area, striking a pedestrian during the incident. At the scene, the injured man was conscious and breathing, but he complained of head pain and suspected a broken foot. Emergency responders were called to assess and treat the person at the scene. Long Beach Fire Department units arrived to evaluate the incident as police secured the intersection. The exact cause of the crash and information on the vehicles involved have not been disclosed yet, with the investigation still underway.
