Lamont, CA (November 21, 2025) – On Monday, two women were taken to the hospital following a rear-end accident in heavy rain that resulted in a rollover crash in Lamont, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The incident occurred on November 17 on Di Giorgio Road, west of San Diego Street. Officials from the CHP stated that the women were driving east in a Toyota Corolla at a slower speed due to the wet road conditions. A Corolla was hit by a Dodge Charger, causing it to flip over due to the powerful impact. After the crash, the Charger kept moving and stopped on some railway tracks nearby. Emergency responders reached the location and took both women to a nearby hospital for medical care. Information about the extent of their injuries has not been disclosed. Officials are still looking into the causes of the accident, such as weather conditions and the speed involved. We are thinking of the injured women and wish for their speedy and complete recovery.
