On November 14, 2025, in Los Molinos, California, a significant accident between a semi-truck and a minivan resulted in two female injuries on Highway 99, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The incident took place around 1:20 p.m. on the northbound lane of Highway 99 close to 3rd Avenue. According to investigators, a minivan was slowing down to turn left when a logging semi-truck, traveling behind it, couldn’t stop in time and crashed into the back of the minivan. This collision resulted in substantial damage to the rear of the minivan, whereas the semi-truck only experienced minor damage. The van had two women inside when the accident happened. The individual onboard experienced severe harm and was promptly transported by air to a close-by medical facility for immediate assistance. The driver experienced mild injuries and was taken to the hospital. The truck driver remained unharmed in the collision. Highways 99 in both directions were closed temporarily for emergency personnel to reach the location and offer assistance. The road has now been reopened while the investigation is ongoing. We are thinking of the injured women and hope for their full and quick recovery.
