On December 1, 2025, in Long Beach, CA, a collision between two cars occurred at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and East 6th Street during Sunday afternoon. This incident led to injuries, substantial vehicle damage, and subsequently, police intervention and several towing requests. The accident was reported around 12:23 p.m. As the crash was identified as a “901Y” occurrence by the dispatchers, it suggests a traffic collision leading to injuries. Responding units arrived at the location shortly after and saw that both vehicles were heavily damaged—one had significant front-end damage, while the other had serious damage on the right side. Initial reports indicated that one of the drivers was having difficulty getting out of their vehicle, raising concerns about potential injuries. Paramedics were probably summoned to assess the individuals involved, but the severity of their injuries has not been revealed. Both vehicles, identified as Hondas, needed to be towed because of their state. One vehicle was taken away by AAA, and the other was towed by a service requested by the owner. The reason for the crash is currently being investigated. Officials stayed at the location to control traffic and complete a collision report. We send our thoughts to those affected and hope for a quick and complete recovery for anyone hurt in the accident.
