A hit-and-run collision was reported Aug. 29 on southbound Interstate 880 at the Alvarado Boulevard off-ramp in California. The incident was recorded near the Lucky shopping area, according to California Highway Patrol dispatch information.
CHP classified the incident as a hit-and-run involving no reported injuries. The dispatch record did not identify the vehicles involved or provide a description of the vehicle that left the scene.
The report was first logged at about 3:11 p.m. at the southbound off-ramp. No lane closures, blocked lanes or other traffic restrictions were listed in the available dispatch information.
