A hit-and-run collision with no reported injuries was reported at about 6:08 p.m. Sept. 9 on Placerita Canyon Road in California’s Newhall area. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a property-damage hit-and-run.
The dispatch information did not identify the vehicles involved or describe the circumstances of the collision. It also did not report any injuries, ambulance response, lane closures or other roadway impacts.
A later CHP update at about 7:01 p.m. noted that the reported location was behind a closed gate. A CHP unit was directed to contact the reporting party and determine the best way to access the location.
