A hit-and-run collision with no reported injuries was documented Oct. 12 at the Dollar Tree parking lot near Washington Avenue and Monterey Boulevard. The incident was reported at approximately 2:12 p.m. in the California Highway Patrol’s Hayward area.
The dispatch location identified the intersection as Washington Avenue and Monterey Boulevard, with the collision occurring in the shopping-center parking lot. CHP classified the incident as a violation involving a driver who left the scene.
