The location was identified as the westbound Route 12 to northbound U.S. 101 connection. The California Highway Patrol’s Santa Rosa area handled the dispatch.
At about 3:37 p.m., CHP received an update that a gray Jeep had exited toward the downtown Santa Rosa off-ramp. The dispatch did not provide additional details about the collision or identify the other vehicle involved.
CHP classified the incident as a hit-and-run with no reported injuries. The available dispatch information did not state whether the Jeep was located or describe any roadway closures.
