Fresno, CA (January 13, 2026) – A severe crash caused serious injuries on January 12 near the N Palm Ave and W San Ramon Ave intersection in Fresno. Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 1:27 p.m. Once the incident was elevated to a major injury traffic collision, categorized as an 11-79, authorities arranged a coordinated response based on jurisdiction—city teams handled the north side of the road, while the county managed the south side. Emergency responders offered on-scene medical care to the injured individuals, but details on the number of people involved or the severity of their injuries have not been disclosed. Traffic management measures were put in place in the vicinity while crews cleared the area and helped those affected. The crash circumstances are still being investigated.
