Fresno, CA (December 20, 2025) – A multi-vehicle crash caused injuries in a Fresno neighborhood on Wednesday evening. The incident happened at approximately 6:28 p.m. At the intersection of Shields Street and Vernon Street, first responders—including paramedics and firefighters from the Fresno Fire Department—arrived quickly to offer medical aid. Multiple people suffered different injuries, received on-site treatment, and were then taken to local hospitals for additional assessment and treatment. The exact number of injuries and the victims’ current conditions have not been released to the public yet. Witnesses on site described extensive damage to the vehicles involved. Emergency responders swiftly cleared the road and made sure bystanders and drivers nearby stayed safe. Traffic delays were reported nearby as crews carried out cleanup and started their investigation. Officials are now examining the details of the collision.
