Fairfield, CA (December 18, 2025) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a person was injured in a collision on the westbound Interstate 80 near Manuel Campos Parkway in Fairfield on Tuesday morning. The crash occurred around 7:52 a.m. Op 16 december. California Highway Patrol officers reached the scene and found two vehicles involved in the collision. The cause of the incident remains unconfirmed, with investigators continuing to piece together the sequence of events. One person was injured in the crash and taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. The current condition of those involved has not been disclosed publicly, and no identities have been released. CHP is still investigating the circumstances of the collision. We are thinking of the injured individual and wish them a complete and speedy recovery.
