Fairfield, CA (November 8, 2025) – A traffic incident with injuries occurred on Saturday afternoon on Interstate 80 Eastbound, located just west of Air Base Pkwy in Fairfield. The accident happened at approximately 2:04 p.m. A collision occurred on one of Solano County’s busiest freeway segments, causing disruptions in traffic. The California Highway Patrol and local emergency services arrived at the scene and reported that at least one person was injured as a result of the accident. Emergency teams offered immediate care at the scene and started organizing medical transport for individuals requiring additional assessment. The specific number of vehicles involved in the crash has not been disclosed, but it caused considerable damage to the right side of the road. This incident led to traffic congestion in the area while first responders tended to the injured parties and cleared away wreckage. Drivers passing through the I-80 corridor were advised to be careful and take additional travel time as crews worked to clear the area. Officials are looking into what caused the accident.
