In Lancaster, CA, a fatal accident occurred on 43183rd Street West on Thursday, November 6th, involving a big-rig truck and a car. The collision claimed the life of 38-year-old Destiny Anthony in the early hours of the morning. The Los Angeles County Fire Department reported that the accident happened at approximately 6:45 a.m. At the crossroads of 30th Street West and Avenue G, upon the arrival of crews, they discovered Anthony entangled within her white Volkswagen Passat, which had sustained significant damage following a collision with a semi-truck. Visual recordings from the site depicted the vehicle compressed and pulled askew by the large truck. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner reported that Anthony was declared deceased at the scene due to severe physical trauma, as stated by the paramedics. The truck driver was unharmed. Firefighters removed the obstruction from the road a little after 7:15 a.m. as investigators recorded evidence and spoke with witnesses. The reason for the crash is still being investigated.
