A traffic collision with unknown injuries was reported Aug. 15 on eastbound Interstate 80 near the San Pablo Avenue north off-ramp. The incident was logged at approximately 1:50 p.m. in the Oakland California Highway Patrol area.
CHP’s location description placed the collision on eastbound I-80 just west of San Pablo Avenue. The dispatch information did not identify the number or types of vehicles involved.
The initial report listed the injury status as unknown. No information in the dispatch indicated that anyone was trapped or that emergency medical transportation was required.
About three minutes after the initial report, CHP recorded that the reporting party did not need a tow truck. The available dispatch information did not provide additional details about the collision or its effect on traffic.
