A traffic collision was reported at about 5:04 p.m. Oct. 1 on the southbound State Route 55 connector to northbound Interstate 405 in Orange County. The California Highway Patrol listed the incident as a collision with injuries initially unknown.
A reporting party told dispatch that a gray Toyota was involved and that a party at the scene was refusing to provide information. The available CHP information did not identify any other vehicles or provide additional details about the circumstances of the crash.
The reporting party requested CHP assistance and advised that the agency’s response was pending. No ambulance, fire response, lane closure or roadway blockage was documented in the dispatch information provided.
The incident was handled through the Orange County Freeway Service Patrol area. CHP’s available update did not provide a later injury assessment or a final disposition for the vehicles involved.
