A traffic collision was reported at the junction of State Route 53 and State Route 20 near the roundabout on Oct. 1, 2026, at approximately 5:25 p.m. The incident was handled through the California Highway Patrol’s Clear Lake area.
The location was described as just south of the roundabout, placing the reported crash on the SR53 side of the junction. CHP dispatch classified the incident as a traffic collision requiring an ambulance response.
At about 5:29 p.m., a dispatch update stated that the ambulance response was en route. The update also referenced St. Helena in connection with the responding assistance.
