A traffic collision was reported near Road 224 and Avenue 112 in California on September 11, 2026. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident as a collision with no reported injuries.
The crash was reported at approximately 3:40 p.m. in the Porterville CHP area. Dispatch information identified the location as Road 224 just south of Avenue 112.
By 3:58 p.m., a utility pole was being held up by wires stretched across all lanes. The dispatch also described the pole as dangling by wires, creating a significant obstruction on the roadway.
Utility personnel were reported to be en route to address the hazard. The available CHP information did not report injuries, additional vehicles, or further developments.
