Brentwood, CA (March 25, 2026) – An 18-year-old student on an e-bike suffered injuries after a vehicle hit them near the entrance to Liberty High School in Brentwood. The incident occurred just before 9:45 a.m. On Tuesday, March 24, at the El Centro Lane and Wickerd Rd. intersection, emergency responders arrived following 911 reports of a student struck near the school campus. Officials stated the e-bike rider was hit by a vehicle operated by another student. The driver, identified as a minor, sustained no injuries in the accident. Following the crash, the 18-year-old rider managed to walk to the high school office for help. Emergency responders treated the student for abrasions on-site. The extent of the injuries was not revealed right away. Officials have not provided information on the cause of the crash or if any tickets were given.
