Bloomington, CA (September 25, 2025) – A motorcyclist sustained injuries on Thursday morning after a collision with a semi-truck at the junction of Cedar Ave and the eastbound I-10 off-ramp in Bloomington, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. The incident took place at approximately 8:14 a.m. and included a motorcycle and a large truck. CHP dispatchers were alerted with several notifications indicating that a rider and their motorcycle had fallen in the intersection. Following the collision, the semi-truck moved to the right shoulder and stayed at the location. Paramedics arrived at the vicinity of the 10200 block of Cedar Ave to evaluate the motorcyclist, who had been injured in the accident. Details regarding the severity of the injuries have not been disclosed, but emergency medical teams were called to deliver urgent care and facilitate transport. The accident caused considerable delays in the vicinity, with eastbound traffic near the Cedar Ave off-ramp from I-10 completely halted. Law enforcement from the CHP and San Bernardino County helped control the situation and reroute traffic. Further information regarding the reason for the accident has not been released. Authorities are investigating if factors such as right-of-way disputes, blind spots, or turning actions played a role in the accident.
