A black Range Rover and a white sedan were involved in a collision on northbound Interstate 405 just south of Sherman Way on Aug. 24, 2026. The California Highway Patrol logged the incident at 2:39 p.m. and classified it as a collision with no reported injuries.
The vehicles were reported on the right-hand side of the northbound freeway. The dispatch information did not indicate that either vehicle overturned or caught fire.
A CHP update at 2:41 p.m. confirmed the vehicle descriptions and their location near the Sherman Way on-ramp area. The available information placed both vehicles along the right side of the roadway rather than in the main travel lanes.
The incident was handled within the CHP’s West Valley area. No injuries or additional roadway closures were reported in the available dispatch information.
