Anza, CA (March 13, 2026) – A woman was killed in a head-on collision on Wednesday morning, March 11, on State Route 371 near Homestead Road in Riverside County’s Anza area. Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 7:00 a.m. following reports of a major crash between two vehicles. The crash involved a 2006 Honda Insight and a 2016 Toyota Tacoma on the highway. The driver of the Honda was declared dead on site. The Toyota’s driver, a 56-year-old man from Aguanga, and his passenger, an 11-year-old boy, sustained injuries in the crash. They were both airlifted to a hospital for treatment. Authorities have yet to provide updates on their conditions. Officials stated that initial reports indicate no involvement of alcohol or drugs in the crash.
