A motorcycle accident on the Golden State (5) Freeway in Pacoima, CA, resulted in injuries to the rider and caused traffic delays during the morning commute on Wednesday. Early on Wednesday, September 17, around 4:50 a.m. The accident on the Golden State (5) Freeway took place. The California Highway Patrol reports that the incident took place in the southbound lanes close to Osborne Street in Pacoima. Emergency responders arrived to discover a motorcycle lying on the freeway. The rider experienced injuries, but their current status has not been disclosed. Another car fire occurred just north of the collision site, adding to the lane obstructions. Traffic congestion escalated rapidly along the heavily traveled route. At a certain stage, officials narrowed three lanes down to one at the junction leading to the southbound Hollywood (43183) Freeway. Authorities announced a SigAlert at 5:45 a.m.
