In Anaheim, California, around 12:08 a.m. on Monday, October 6. A motorcyclist was killed in the 43183 Freeway accident that happened on the curve connecting the southbound Orange (57) Freeway to the westbound Riverside (91) Freeway, as reported by the California Highway Patrol. Authorities stated that the incident took place on the curved transition ramp between the two highways. According to a witness, the motorcycle seemed to have been pushed off the road by another vehicle, but there was no information regarding what that vehicle looked like. Emergency responders arrived soon after the incident was reported but sadly confirmed that the motorcyclist had passed away at the site. Caltrans closed the connecting road for several hours to allow investigators to gather evidence and remove debris.
