The suspected driver was later identified as 65-year-old Yolanda Orozco, a resident of Oceanside. Officials reported that she confessed to driving and exhibited indications of being under the influence during the interrogation. Authorities verified that the pedestrian sustained deadly injuries, but it is still uncertain whether he passed away on-site or later in a medical facility. His name has not been disclosed yet.
